The Head Hunter is a revolutionary double jointed predator lure that combines the fish catching characteristics of three proven lure styles into one versatile presentation. Designed to target musky, northern pike, striped bass, walleye, and trophy bass, the Head Hunter delivers the natural swimming action of a swimbait, the hard thumping vibration and hunting action of a shallow running crankbait, and the unpredictable kick out and darting action of a glide bait.

Its unique double jointed design creates an incredibly lifelike movement that can be fished effectively with a variety of retrieves. Slow roll it like a swimbait, burn it like a shallow running crankbait to depths of approximately 4 feet, or troll it to cover large expanses of water. The Head Hunter's slow sinking profile allows anglers to adapt their presentation to changing conditions and fish behavior throughout the day. At the heart of the Head Hunter is Livingston’s proven EBS™ (Electronic Baitfish Sound) Technology, which emits natural baitfish sounds that help predators locate the lure from greater distances. Built with rugged 2 mm wire through construction, the Head Hunter is designed to withstand the abuse of the largest freshwater predators while delivering unmatched versatility and fish catching performance.

STEVE HERBECK PRO TIP: The Head Hunter excels when retrieve speed is varied throughout the cast. Start with a steady retrieve, then occasionally speed up, pause, or add short rod sweeps to activate its swimbait, crankbait, and glide bait characteristics. Many strikes occur immediately after a sudden change in speed or direction when predators perceive the lure as vulnerable prey
