Head Hunter 6"
The double jointed Head Hunter combines the fish catching characteristics of three proven lure styles into one highly versatile predator bait. Designed to target musky, northern pike, striped bass, walleye, and trophy bass, the Head Hunter delivers the slow swimming appeal of a swimbait, the hard vibrating hunting action of a shallow running crankbait, and a unique kick out and darting action while trolling that closely mimics the movement and behavior of distressed baitfish.
Its innovative double-jointed design creates an incredibly natural swimming motion and subtle slow sinking profile that allows anglers to effectively cover a variety of depths and presentations. Whether slow rolled like a swimbait, burned like a shallow crankbait to depths of approximately 4 feet, or deployed on a trolling spread, the Head Hunter consistently produces strikes from aggressive predators. At the heart of the Head Hunter is Livingston’s proven EBS™ (Electronic Baitfish Sound) Technology, which emits natural baitfish sounds that help predators locate the lure from greater distances and remain engaged throughout the retrieve. Built with rugged 2 mm wire through construction, the Head Hunter is engineered to withstand the punishment of trophy class fish while delivering unmatched versatility and performance.
STEVE HERBECK PRO TIP: The Head Hunter excels when used as both a casting and trolling bait. While trolling, vary your speed occasionally to enhance its kick out action and trigger reaction strikes. When casting, incorporate pauses and speed changes to take advantage of its slow-sinking profile and natural swimming action. Many strikes occur immediately after a change in speed or direction
