Color & Sound

The jointed Pounder is a premium predator crankbait designed to target musky, pike, tiger musky, striped bass, and other hard fighting game fish. Built to be cast and retrieved around structure, cover, rock, timber, and weed edges, the Pounder delivers an irresistible combination of vibration, wobble, and fish triggering action that consistently produces strikes from trophy class predators.

Its jointed body design creates a highly realistic swimming motion while generating additional thump and water displacement that predators can easily detect. The result is a lure that stands out in a variety of conditions, whether worked through shallow cover or along deeper structure. One of the Pounder’s most effective features is its carefully tuned rate of rise. During pauses, the lure slowly floats back toward the surface, creating a vulnerable baitfish appearance that often triggers strikes from following fish. Enhanced by Livingston’s proven EBS™ (Electronic Baitfish Sound) Technology, the Pounder emits natural baitfish sounds that help attract predators from greater distances and keep them engaged throughout the retrieve. Built with extra heavy duty line through construction, the Pounder is designed to withstand the punishment of the biggest predators in the system.

STEVE HERBECK PRO TIP: Retrieve the Pounder so it occasionally contacts rocks, timber, or the tops of submerged weeds. After deflecting off cover, pause briefly and allow the lure to float back naturally. Many of the biggest musky and pike strikes occur during the float back phase when the bait appears injured and vulnerable
